our favorite park bench in the city

Feb 16, 2006 | Life in Progress

Today we took Bella to Mt Tabor, her favorite park in the city. It’s actually an extinct volcano, a small mountain, in the middle of the city. so cool. From the top you can see the city to the west and mt hood to the east. Here’s our favorite park bench, and if you look hard enough, you’ll see the city in the background. The sun is out again and i can’t tell you how refreshing it is. February is the hardest winter month for me, so every sunny day feels like a pull in the right direction. Spring will be here soon with its millions of beatiful tulips all over this city.

We had a really great talk at one of our favorite lunch spots today. John is feeling pulled in a million different directions between his new position in the ICU and the waiting, waiting, waiting to hear from schools. it’s a lot of pressure. so it’s been really good for us to get out and enjoy the sunshine these last few days with our dog and just breathe it in. be still. relax. talk. not talk.

Sending much love,
