Turning 30

Jun 21, 2005 | Life in Progress

What a celebration. Turning 30 was awesome. Gina flew in from Berkeley which was wonderful. We shopped, lounged, ate all weekend long, and went to the spa. I couldn’t have asked for a better 30th birthday. I feel young, in great shape, and just in a good place in my life. I’m not sure why people dread turning 30? i’m happy to leave what i call the ‘tulmultuous twenties’ behind. i like getting older, having more life experiences, getting laugh wrinkles. Being 30 makes me feel hopeful. I’m happy to enter them with john by my side.

Sending much love,
