A class with Ann Baldwin

Oct 10, 2006 | Life in Progress

day 6
i took ann baldwin’s class on day 6. she is hilarious and her english accent was soothing, and really, she’s an amazing teacher. here’s a glimpse of an abstract piece i made in her class – really, just a technique board. i left that class spinning with ideas.

i started getting very tired on day 6. my body started aching, my feet sore. the events of the week, the lack of sleep, the excitement, all of it, caught up to me. i was T.I.R.E.D. and i could feel myself getting a bit sick. you know the kind of ache you get when you’re on your way to sick. yeah, that’s what i had. oh my, i needed some sleep. i was suffering from happiness exhaustion.

Sending much love,

Wow, Kelly Rae, you got some great paintings out of Ann’s class. I really like these; makes me wish I had taken the class too.
