“Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family: Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.” – Jane Howard

John’s parents were in town last week from Florida for a brief visit. we all enjoyed a day trip to the Oregon Garden and to Silver Falls, then john took them for a hike the following day before they boarded the train for California. good times, good times.

Sending much love,

Beautiful pictures! I love the one of Bella with the statue — and that’s a very sweet one of John with his mom, too.

How lucky you are to have such beautiful places close to your home!

I am loving your blog, by the way. I am inspired by your artwork and would love to make it a goal of mine to include similar creative things in my blog (and life!)

    Take care.
