I truly cannot remember a time that I’ve ever been outside this much. Back in Portland, I was more homebound, which was okay as I loved our home very much. But I didn’t get outside much. I had less time to roam and when I did, I resisted the commutes and the crowds. It seemed like getting outside for a nature excursion was an all day affair.
But here. HERE! I’m at a gorgeous hike or lake or river with very little effort. I’ve got more time (thanks to what felt like the monumental uphill battle of simplifying my business > worth it!), and fewer obstacles to get outside (no traffic, less people, more access, better weather.). There is harmony here between business and nature and motherhood and partnership and self-care.
LOVE!
We’ve also had many visitors since moving into our new home in May. There’s something about having old friends visit that makes new houses and new cities feel more like Home. I’ve been loving exploring #centraloregon with them as I learn about it all myself.
Sending love to you all and hoping you’re getting some outside time, too. Hello, SUMMER.
