illustration friday – my paradise

Jun 1, 2007 | Life in Progress

“yellow shoes”
available on my etsy
(update: original sold, but prints are available here.)

on my best days, this would be my paradise…
to embrace change
to continue the journey toward my self (it’s a constant)
to love without abandon
to speak my gratitude
to wear my yellow shoes
to unleash my creative spirit
to dance in the moonlight (have you ever done that?)
to be positive (trying hard lately)
to believe in healing (always)
to share my inner light (some days are better than others)
to surprise myself by doing something i didn’t think i could do (the best feeling in the world)
to live as if i’ve only one chance (both sobering and true all at once)

Sending much love,

my favorite piece you’ve done thus far – i think because of the yellow shoes and all of your affirmative thoughts – lovely. remember this when you are feeling blue! (and best buy another pair of those shoes so you can have a back up pair one day!)xx
