I like the new items since they are brighter and happier feeling, not as dark…I think there is a seduction in the bright colors, I know I always use them in my artwork. They definitely cheer you up!

Well you said I can say anything I want… so hmmm, I had a green Veggie shake for lunch. It's called an avacado rado shake i believe, it's pretty good, and I am listening to the latest " The Weepies" album, which you introduced me to Kelly. I like them quite a bit. My husband and I close on our house next wednesday so I am super excited to start ripping apart the boxes to get to my art supplies and start setting up in my lil studio! I hope I get the chance to meet you Kelly, but if not congrats to that lucky person!

The new products are fantastic! And fabulous! Today i am working on some painted canvas butterfies and birds. I am painting and collaging the shapes and then stitching them together so i have a three dimensional bird or butterfly (or heart). One of them will be a birthday gift for my friend Connie. I hope they turn out like i imagine!

Living the dream today. Started three little nest paintings, wearing Grandpa's old work apron and my jammies…fingers covered in paint and glue, windows wide open. Soon I'll be getting ready to go to town for open gallery night, where local artisans are showcased. Reminding myself to be brave in all situations…to be ready for anything.
You must be dancing for joy, those new products are fabu! Especially the mirror and the candles.
Currently I'm working on a butterfly painting for a show this fall. Having so much fun with it, different then what I usually do but exciting and challenging.

First of all I LOVE the mirror! Can't wait to see the others! I was just thinking of your "Love Letter to My New cowgirl boots" post. I rarely allow myself to buy something nice and expensive without feeling a tremendous amount of guilt, however recently I received a gift card for Anthropologie and fell in love with a pair of jeans there that were WAY above what I would ever pay for a pair of jeans and I have a ton of jeans and certainly didn't need these, but I tried them on anyway and they felt like HEAVEN! So, I said, what the hell, Kelly Rae got another pair of boots ;).
