I’m obsessed with Instagram – it’s my favorite online home! Here’s a recap from the last week, and for those of you who aren’t on Instagram, come and join me! And you can click here to see all the Instagram updates right here on my blog!

Friday, August 7

I took a short trip to Manzanita yesterday with a couple of girlfriends. This little town holds so much magic for me. It would be a dream to be able to own a little cabin here someday. The weather was gorgeous and so much peace in my soul. Love you, #manzanita! – See more at: http://iconosquare.com/viewer.php#/detail/1021310411454761888_4682769
NOTICE: You are hereby allowed to be happy, to love yourself, to realize your worth, to believe in great things, and to be treated with love and respect. I’ve seen this quote floating around the Internet, and I adore it. Good reminder going into the weekend, my friends. Have a great one! – See more at: http://iconosquare.com/viewer.php#/detail/1031236835330443657_4682769

“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!” – Audrey Hepburn A hopeful spirit if there ever was one! Here’s to a weekend of celebrating your gifts! May we always be connected in our traveling journeys….

And
we all had such a sweet time together. We live in a gorgeous world,
friends. And I am grateful to the people who hold the space, create
beauty, and encourage us all to find and express our gold. ?

“Happiness is the experience of living every moment with love, grace, and gratitude.” – Denis Waitley

Moment to moment….

Really happy to be back to work this week in non camping clothes but rather dressed up in joy clothes. The Wear Your Joy Project continues! Over 1k of you have signed up to do this project with me! So
grateful for all the inspiration that has flowed in and out of this
project as we make what’s in our hearts visible and wearable!

C’mon little bud, you can do it, put a little power to it! ?

Goodnight sweet studio. It was lovely to be back in your colorful world today! Ahhhhhh
Lounging
a bit here in the backyard for a bit, watching the sunset and a robin
eat the worms in our grass. My heart has been sensitive lately, getting
its feelings hurt a bit. Never a comfortable feeling, especially when it
has to do with belonging. Sitting with it, feeling it all, and trusting
in my journey. It all matters.

One of my favorites from last weekend in the woods.

Dear You,
Now is the time to follow your heart’s deepest calling.
Sincerely, Faith

John just brought this dahlia in from the backyard.

I
have a love/hate relationship with being unplugged. But anything that
allows more presence wins in my book. I loved this sign that was up in
the woods last weekend. So perfect, no?
This
morning during 630am snuggles, he investigated my nostrils. “Mama,
looks like you’re all clear except for the fur. But that’s okay because
the fur keeps the dust from getting in.”

Become
a Possibilitarian… Throughout the years, this word,
“possibilitarian,” has stuck with me. It is a motivator, a grounder, a
reminder of who I want to be. I have so much gratitude that this word
found me somehow, and continues to be a guiding light.

Best bowl in Portland from my favorite lunch spot. Kale, tempeh, hazelnuts, quinoa, beans, advocado, Buddha sauce.

My
biz mgr Betsy has an amazing blog with all sorts of invaluable information
for artists. Had to repost her latest IG post as I get this question a
lot. Head to her feed and link in profile for more info. Also, need
creative biz consultation? Betsy is your gal.

Today.
Today was waking up to a sore throat, a little one with a fever. Today
was so much gratitude to the response to my new painting course (starts
in 6 weeks!). Today was writing a new blog post and catching up with
office mates and a delish lunch. It was sleeping in and dreaming about
our next family adventure. It was filming a fun couch chat with another
friend and sneaking in a little Green Bay Packer watching. A good day.
Totally digging this day. And these flowers. Whoa.

That’s it for this week! Check back here next week for another update, or join us over on Instagram for daily photos and thoughts!

XO,
Kelly Rae

Sending much love,
