I am so excited about the upcoming nyc trip with my girlfriends that i could scream. Maya is going to host all of us in her Brooklyn apt. i can’t believe i haven’t seen most of them in over 2-3 years – crazy! It will be me, maya, tanya, karen, ama, clare, healther, ali, dawnie, and deb. I really wish kat could make it, but i have a feeling we’ll be talking to her on the cell every 2 hours.
Things i can’t wait for:
late nite talks
early morning talks over tea
getting one of maya’s famous hugs
catching up with everyone, basically chatting non stop
dancing. oh god, i can’t wait for the dance parties
to see and experience maya and tanya’s life in the city
taxi cab rides and subways
snuggling up with everyone in our sleeping bags on the floor of Maya’s apt
roaming nyc streets
the people watching, even the rude people
picking up silly nyc souvenirs
taking pics of my friends
nyc shopping & nyc food: pizza, bagels
making new memories while reminiscing about old ones
being inspired by each and every one of them
