shine brightly

(shine brightly – prints available soon)

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others” – from Marianne Williamson’s book, A Return To Love

i will never be able to tell you how fully this quote, this idea, this belief has changed my life. there is no way i would be where i’m at now had i not deeply believed it with my whole heart. i invite you to do the same. we are all meant to shine, and to shine brightly – no dimming necessary.

Sending much love,

Hi Kellie Rae – I don't know if you will get this. A comment on an old post BUT I so needed to see this tonight. I am shining so bright right now, and I have to fight those "Who do you think you are?" voices all the time. Thing is – I'm fighting them – and it is getting easier all the time. Thank you for shining so brightly! My website is up with a "bio" and everything. 🙂 I know, I know, who do I think I am? Tonight, I am all of that and more… giggle. Take good care.
