I’m working on a new series of artwork that is all about the togetherness, tenderness, and the love that we share and cultivate with our families. Inspired by my 4 yr old son, True, this series is raw, honest, and different from what I’m known for. The piece above is a collaboration, really, between me and him, and I love, love, love it. I want these pieces to make their way into kid rooms, but also into family living spaces where we gather and build memories.

Recently I made
a painting and shared snippets of the time-lapse over on
Instagram, but I wanted to share the full video with you guys here on the blog. Pardon the orientation as I couldn’t figure out how to flip the video once it was recorded! And can I just say how much I love having time-lapse on my iphone? LOVE!
Also, you guys. My painting ecourse starts in just a few short days. This will be the only time it launches with a group of students this year and I’m super excited.

I love teaching. I love connecting with my students. The best part, for me, is the community that forms, a beautiful constellation of people. They are seekers, creative beings, joyful spirits who want to invite a bit more creative play and joyful intention into their lives. They are welcoming, kind-hearted, sweet souls who uplift and support one another along the way. Some share the lessons and take the class with their children and family members. Some cozily take their time, relishing the self paced nature of this course. Some are beginners, some masters. Either way, they are ALL IN, allowing the unfolding.
I’m an artist, but I’m also (as one friend cleverly put it) a Connectress. When I bring people together (online or otherwise), big things happen. I can’t explain it – it’s just the power of creative synchronicity. And community.
