You know how you have seasons of your life when you are in a moment of expansion? You do things you haven’t considered doing before. You say yes when perhaps you would have normally said no. You say no when perhaps you would have normally said yes. You read books you wouldn’t normally read. You’re just open. Open to seeking, discovering…..
Lately, I’ve been devouring, seeking, and considering new ways of seeing my purpose, my soul mission, my relationship with others, my work in the world, others work in the world. Big stuff. Metaphysical stuff. Woo woo stuff. Honestly, I’ve been practicing not calling it “woo woo”, but rather AWAKENING. Because that is what it feels like. It feels quite similar to when I discovered making art just before I turned 30 years old. I devoured it. I couldn’t get enough of it. It led to all sorts of incredible personal discoveries, but also to a life I couldn’t imagine. Exactly 10 years later, I have a sense that something similar is happening. A new shift and awakening.
I can’t wait to see what unfolds. I have no idea what it is. I’m just committed to following the clues and trusting that if it ignites and delights my spirit, it must be important.
