My word for 2014 is trust.
I’m going to trust in the process.
In the journey.
In the divine timing of everything.
I’m going to trust that following my urge to wear red shows and funky cowgirl boots will lead to an opening of joy in my heart, and who knows what else.
I’m going to trust my voice, my power, my truth, my instincts.
I’m going to practice trusting. Every single day, all day long. Even when I’m in traffic, or irritable, or frustrated, or being triggered. It all matters.
I’m going to trust that shining brightly is a way of radiating possibility into the world.
That being brave in sadness will lead to all sorts of moments of connection, and healing.
I’m going to practice trusting others. This is a big one for me.
I’m going to practice trusting the idea that there is ample time, an abundance of time really.

I’m going to keep trusting what I already know to be true: that we are a part of something beautiful, something bigger, something deeply profoundly, astonishingly….good.
Here’s to all things trust in 2014. Something tells me it’s going to be a remarkable journey.
XO,
Kelly Rae
PS: I’m also going to trust that letting art out will let love in. For those of you who also want to let your art out, while letting love in, and who perhaps want to make your word of the year beautiful, I can’t recommend my upcoming painting e-course enough. Hello Soul, Hello Mantra (sign ups have been amazing – thank you!).
