I’ve been doing so much gardening lately out in the cold and wet. John bought me these freaking amazing insulated women’s Carrhart overalls. Changing my life, y’all. Had to share. You just slip them over whatever you’re wearing. The other day I took a break from work and slipped them over my tunics and boots and was fully protected and ready to work in the yard. In the rain. And cold. Pockets everywhere! Who knew? Love discovering new tools. So today I’m out in the backyard potting up a storm and am warm in these overalls. Feels like a small miracle for a girl who super struggles with wanting be outdoors and warm at the same time.

I’ve never thought of pairing a turtleneck dress under another dress, but super loving this look, especially because the turtleneck dress is the SOFTEST thing ever.

PS: Tights and both dresses are from Gudren Sjoden.

Raise your hand if you’re ready for Spring already? Also, can someone please give me some reassurance that it’s totally normal to not get a haircut in like months and months if indeed you are growing out your hair? This is the longest my hair has been since I was six years old and definitely the longest it’s been since I’ve been to a salon. Can’t decide if I’ll keep growing or chop it to chin length. My greys are coming in STRONG. Sort of love it, really. I can’t wait to be a wise old woman. Wise old women out there, you are my beacons.

Sending much love,
