it’s thursday evening. what a difference a day makes. today i did what i need to do more often. i got on the phone. i reached out. i asked for advice. i went to an art show (where i met another Kelly Rae and saw jennifer again – both artists i loovveee!). i had dinner + drinks with a friend. i treated my favorite postal worker to starbucks while she processed my packages. i went out for breakfast with john and had biscuits and gravy. i answered emails. i had a couple of conference calls. i strategized. i read (and then felt) a mean spirited review of my book on amazon. i facebooked and received kindness. i twittered about how back fat should be criminal. i cracked myself up. i celebrated another friend’s success during a phone chat. i put on glitter eye shadow and my favorite boots.
