We’ve been to Cannon Beach a million times bit this has been our best trip yet. I gave myself permission to do nothing but inhale, exhale, nap, read, watch the olympics, watch the view, listen to the waves, and take hot baths. Because restoration is critical to my sanity. Yes and yes.

Could the Oregon coast be more gorgeous? We are adventuring this week for our last big summer hurrah before True starts Kindergarten! Just dropped John off at this spot to surf and True and I are headed in town to the skate park.

May you always feel at ease with your music. May you always take your inspiration with you, even if it means your the only one on a crowded beach with a trumpet or trombone. May you continue to shine your light because its brightness is a parade I love to watch. True, you are the essence of being true. And I am so lucky to be your mom.
